The Austrian MotoGP Package from Red Bull Ring

The MotoGP Dutch TT, held at the TT Circuit Assen, is one of the most prestigious and historic events on the calendar. Known as “The Cathedral of Speed,” Assen is the only circuit to have hosted a Grand Prix every year since the championship’s inception in 1949, earning its legendary status in the world of motorcycle racing.

Valentino Rossi is the most successful modern rider at Assen, with 10 wins across all classes, including eight in MotoGP. His mastery of the circuit’s flowing layout and its combination of fast and technical sections highlights his extraordinary skill. Marc Márquez has also claimed multiple victories here, often thrilling fans with daring overtakes and strategic brilliance. Dutch rider Wil Hartog remains a celebrated figure for his historic win in the 1977 Dutch TT, adding a local hero to the event’s lore.

Yamaha has historically been the most successful manufacturer at Assen, thanks to riders like Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo. Honda has also enjoyed significant success, with Márquez and Dani Pedrosa delivering strong results. Ducati has seen sporadic triumphs, often depending on its ability to adapt its powerful machines to the track’s demands.

The TT Circuit Assen is renowned for its fast corners and rapid direction changes, making it a favorite among riders. Its unpredictable weather often adds an extra layer of drama, with rain frequently impacting race outcomes.

What makes the Dutch TT truly unique is its connection to tradition. Held on the last Saturday of June, it was the only Grand Prix traditionally not run on a Sunday until 2016. The passionate Dutch fans and the circuit’s festive atmosphere make it a standout event.

The Dutch TT continues to deliver unforgettable moments, celebrating its heritage while remaining one of MotoGP’s most anticipated and thrilling races.
