Day 1: Friday

Day 1 of the Italian Grand Tour takes us to the mouth of the Black Forest, Baden-Baden. Maison Messmer hotel “acts as a house of indulgence, where you experience the personal hospitality of a second home combined with the subtle, smart luxury of a contemporary grand hotel”. Though most grand tourists head into town for Schnitzel, chips and a beer….followed by a few hours at the Grand Casino Baden-Baden (jacket & tie required).

With the Nurburgring located 200 miles due north of Baden-Baden, if you time it right, there’s a perfect opportunity for a couple of laps of Touristenfahrten. Alternatively, take the direct route via the site of the original French Grand Prix at Reims, with a spot of lunch in Epernay.
Day 2: Saturday

Start: Baden-Baden
Destination: Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski 5*, St Moritz

Whether it’s the Snow Polo, the Toboggan Club, or more fur coats than you can shake a stick at, St Moritz has it all. And there’s nothing classier (or clichéd) then a couple of dozen neon supercars parked outside one of its oldest hotels.
Set in an iconic 1864 building, this five-star hotel combines European luxury, excellent service and world-class events in the Swiss Alps. In a breath-taking mountain setting, you can recharge and relax while being close to nature.

Head south from Baden-Baden and you immediately hit the B500 (Black Forest Road). Almost 200km of twisting and flowing forest road, with scenery to match the driving experience.
The tour will hit Zurich for a spot of lunch, and afterwards head straight to the hotel or make the most the driving options available. Within a short drive of St Moritz is sits “The Big 3” Alpine passes: The Grimsel Pass, Furka Pass, and Susten Pass.
Day 3: Sunday

Start: St Moritz
Destination: Melia Hotel 5*, Genoa
Room: Supreme Double
Just a few minutes from the Palazzo Ducale and San Lorenzo Cathedral. A classic and majestic boutique hotel in one of the most elegant districts in Genoa, designed by the renowned architect Giuseppe Crosa di Vergagni, also the creator of the fountain in the Piazza De Ferrari.
For dinner you have the opportunity to head up to the Blue Lounge & Restaurant, or head into town and explore the restaurants the line the cobbled streets.

Sunday is Grand Prix day, which means the proper driving is left to the pro’s. Upon arrival at Monza we will have dedicated parking a short walk from the circuit, or you can dump your supercar on the side of the road like the locals do. Nothing makes a Ferrari look authentic like a parking-scrape on the rear quarter.
After watching the race from your Grandstand, take the Autostrada south towards Genoa and enjoy the sweeping descent into the city that seems to go on forever. Beware, if you think you’re handy with 500bhp under your right foot, just wait to see what the locals can do in Fiat Pandas!
Day 4: Monday
2nd September ’24
Start: Genoa
Destination: Fairmont Hotel 5*, Monaco

To those that follow motor-racing, the Fairmont Monaco is about as iconic as you can get. Located in the heart of Monaco, at the hairpin of the F1 circuit, and overlooking the Ligurian sea. A truly stunning hotel with 600 rooms, a Nobu restaurant, and Nikki Beach on the rooftop.

After the excitement of the previous 3-days, Monday can be taken as an opportunity for relaxation or more fun. The 2-hour drive from Genoa to Monaco takes in the stunning coastal “Via Aurelia”, passing through tunnels carved from granite, as you approach Monaco from the east.
For those that want to relax, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch in Monaco, take a helicopter to St Tropez for a leisurely lunch…..or you can blast up the Col du Turini!
Day 5: Tuesday
3rd September ’24
Start: Monaco
Destination: Mandarin Oriental 5*, Geneva
Room: Superior Double
Evening: Group Dinner & Awards Ceremony
Located in the heart of Geneva, the Mandarin Oriental is one of the top 5* hotels in Switzerland. With stunning panoramic views of the Rhone, it is the perfect place to relax after a long day.
It is also the perfect place to enjoy the world famous Grand Prix Grand Tours group dinner and Awards ceremony. Award categories are a well-guarded secret, but previous years winners have included Award For Causing an International Incident, Award for Breaking Down The Most Times, and Award for Most Impractical Choice of Car.

The penultimate day is not for the faint-hearted. The opportunity to drive Europe’s best roads will be laid before you the moment you leave Monaco. We will be tackling the Route Napoleon, the Maddelena Pass, the Col de Bonnette, Col de Lombarde, Col de Braus, along with many more.
This is the final day of ‘proper’ driving, and its days like this that you’ll tell the grandkids about!
